Juan Dolio - Santiago de los Caballeros. - As part of its EcoGreen sustainability program and its focus on social responsibility, Hodelpa Hotels reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and education by recently signing two collaboration agreements with educational and childcare institutions in San Pedro de Macorís and Santiago, two of the communities where the hotel chain has a presence. These initiatives reinforce its commitment to the well-being and development of the localities in which it operates.
In a ceremony held at the Emotions Juan Dolio hotel, located in San Pedro de Macorís, the sponsorship of the Hogar Escuela Caridad Misionera, an institution that provides care and training to 19 girls, was formalized. This becomes the second children's home supported by Hodelpa Hotels in this community, joining the already supported Hogar de Niñas Pasitos de Jesús. Both initiatives reflect the hotel chain's firm commitment to the integral development of children in vulnerable conditions.
Meanwhile, in the city of Santiago, the Hodelpa Garden Court Hotel signed a collaboration agreement with the Escuela Básica Orlando Bienvenido Carvajal Cáceres, located in the El Puñal sector. As part of this agreement, Hodelpa Hotels is committed to carrying out activities aimed at environmental care, cultural strengthening and social responsibility, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the strategic axes of its EcoGreen program.
The alliance was signed by Mrs. Yliana Boitel, manager of Hodelpa Garden Court; Ms. Amarilis Morel, director of the educational center; and Mr. Richard Ignacio Báez, director of Educational District 08-03 of the Ministry of Education.
These actions are part of Hodelpa Hotels' integral vision of generating a positive impact that transcends tourism activity, consolidating its role as an active agent of social, community and environmental transformation in the regions where it operates.
