Santo Domingo. - In its commitment to social responsibility and mutual and inclusive respect for all, Hodelpa Hotels has initiated a training program aimed at its associates, focused on the dignified treatment of people with disabilities from a rights perspective, through the National Council on Disability (CONADIS). This initiative seeks to sensitize and orient staff on the importance of offering an inclusive and respectful service in each of their daily interactions.
The main objective of this training is to provide employees with tools to ensure proper treatment of people with disabilities, fostering an environment of respect and equality in all areas of the hotel chain. The content of the training covers the historical evolution of disability, the use of appropriate terminology, recommendations for a dignified interaction and treatment, as well as a brief introduction to sign language. It also serves as a preamble to its sign language program.
“Exceptional service to all people is a core value at Hodelpa. We believe in the importance of preparing our team to provide an optimal and respectful experience for all our guests and visitors, regardless of their conditions,” said Yeine Durán, Sustainability Manager.
Through this initiative, Hodelpa Hotels reaffirms its commitment to the creation of more accessible and inclusive spaces, promoting a culture of respect and fairness that benefits the whole community.
