The Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising the marketing and public relations strategies for Hodelpa's three properties in Santiago.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with the business objectives of each property.
• Execute promotional and advertising campaigns across digital and traditional media.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and differentiation.
• Coordinate the production of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, videos, and digital content.
• Oversee the hotels’ positioning on booking platforms and online review sites.
• Support the sales strategy with marketing initiatives to increase occupancy and revenue in rooms, restaurants, and events.
Public Relations Management
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with media outlets, influencers, associations, and key clients.
• Coordinate participation in industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions relevant to the hotel and tourism sector.
• Organize public relations events, including cocktail receptions, product launches, and promotional activities at the hotels.
• Manage and respond to press releases and media interview requests.
• Represent the hotels at events, meetings, and industry forums.
Social Media Management and Digital Content
• Oversee and generate content for the hotels’ social media channels, ensuring alignment with the identity and values of Hodelpa Hotels.
• Coordinate with community managers or in-house designers for the production of graphic and audiovisual content.
• Analyze performance metrics on social media and digital platforms to optimize strategies.
Customer Relations and Service
• Implement strategies to improve the customer experience and foster loyalty.
• Channel guest feedback and suggestions to the appropriate departments to enhance service quality.
• Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses and organizations to attract new market segments.
Internal Coordination and Reporting
• Collaborate with the managers of each hotel to ensure the execution of marketing and communication strategies.
• Present periodic reports on results, benchmarking, and analysis of the impact of implemented strategies.
• Manage the marketing budget allocated to the Santiago properties, ensuring investment efficiency.
Required Profile
- Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Excellent writing and spelling skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and public relations (preferably with hotel industry experience)
- Experience in digital strategies, email marketing, advertising, and social media management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive, creative, and results-oriented
- Advanced proficiency in the Office suite
- Must have own vehicle
- Experience with task management platforms (Asana, Monday, Wrike, etc.)
